Proteomics Applications Scientist

in our expanding Billerica, Massachusetts Facility.

This position requires a strong focus on proteomics applications with our accurate mass LC/MS and LC/MS/MS products, and ion trap MS/MS and ETD systems. Responsibilities include supporting the sales growth of our products through demonstrating product capabilities to customers, analyzing complex samples, developing applications, testing and evaluating new products and software, making sales and technical presentations, customer training and support and close interaction with our technical sales team.

Minimum Requirements
Ph.D in Chemistry or equivalent with 3 + years of relevant experience with modern mass spectrometer and HPLC techniques. Exposure to proteomics sample preparation, analysis and data processing methods. Excellent communications skills needed with a wide variety of skill levels with customers and in-house personnel in a global team environment. Experience with Windows operating systems and MS Office applications required.

Some travel is required.
