Abstract

A recent application of mass spectrometry is the study of biochemical interactions using a gentle ionization method like

electrospray. The abilities of the electrospray micrOTOF mass spectrometer to detect noncovalent interactions are presently

investigated using a series of protein/ligand models. This mass spectrometer appears well fitted for such application showing

sensitivity and robustness as well as enough resolution to allow the study of multiprotein/ligands complexes of several

kDa.
