Abstract

• The ProteinExtractor compiles an overall protein list from a number of peptide lists of different origin. Result integration on peptide levelyields more proteins and allows discriminating isoforms.
• The Decoy Strategyvalidates the number of identified proteins according to a given False Positive rate.
• In the ProteinScape database, all datasets and search results are in place. Quantitation of proteins over 21 gel bands using two search engines becomes simple.
