Abstract

Assembly of an unprecedented [(P^VMn^IIW^VI₁₁O₃₉)₂{P^VO₄}]^13– and a [P₂Mn₄W₁₈O₆₈]^10– cluster have been observed and structurally characterised and cryospray mass spectroscopic ionization (CSI) has been used to observe one of the very reactive building blocks linking solid state with solution studies.
