Purpose:The position is for an Applications Scientist at the US headquarters of Bruker Daltonics in Billerica, MA, with a primary focus on technical sales support, demonstrating instrument and software capabilities to existing and prospective customers in order to generate sales.
Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications:Ph.D. or BS/MS level with several years experience in biological or small molecule and/or proteomics mass spectrometry analysis and HPLC. Additional expertise in biological sample preparation, such as protein purification and protein enzymatic digestion, will be an advantage. Prior successful management of scientists is preferred.Some travel up to 20% will be required.
