GenoTools™ represents a software solution for the analysis of genomics data generated by Bruker Daltonics MALDI-TOF mass spectrometers. GenoTools 2.0 contains two independent analysis modules for different MALDI-TOF-MS based DNA screening applications:

1. SNP-manager for automated SNP-genotyping
2. OligoQC-module for screening of oligonucleotides in terms of a quality check.

Features of GenoTools

• Samples are administered in a 384 well microtiter plate (MTP) format.
• Multiple MTPs can be selected for a batch run.
• One or multiple methods can be easily connected to each MTP with the tree view.
• The progress of the automated analysis is displayed in a graphical overview of the MTP target.
• SNP-Manager: Multiplex-genotyping analyses are supported.
• SNP-Manager: Simultaneous usage of multiple genotyping algorithms for an optimal internal quality control is possible.
• SNP-Manager: The internal quality score is displayed in a green/yellow/red colour code. The detailed genotyping results are displayed as well using another colour code.
• SNP-Manager: The analysis is performed without any user interaction. If desired samples can be analysed and edited interactively.
• OligoQC module: For screening approaches the oligonucleotide quality is displayed in green/red colour code. Contaminants can also be assigned.
• Reports are generated in an open file format (XML, ASCII), which allows optimal integration in existing customer information management systems.
