The PROTEINEER fc is a liquid handler for post-column MALDI preparation of LC separated peptide fractions.

The system collects samples from Nano- and Capillary-LC systems and deposits them on Prespotted AnchorChip targets, MALDI AnchorChip targets, or well plates for offline MS and MS/MS analysis. It is also possible to add matrix directly during sample preparation.

The system offers four positions in MTP format for MALDI Anchor Targets or well plates. These positions are equipped with transponder antennas for automated target identification. Another MTP format position holds matrix or washing solution used during fraction collection. For probe cleaning and rejection of eluent a rinse station is included.

PROTEINEER-LC Suite Integration

The PROTEINEER fc is an integral part of the PROTEINEER-LC line for LC-MALDI and combined LC-ESI-MALDI experiments. Samples are tracked throughout the whole analytical procedure by the WARP-LC software.
