PROTEINEER

Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics Suite

The PROTEINEER™ suite integrates our powerful mass spectrometers with robotics and bioinformatics to deliver maximum productivity and success in proteomics projects.

PROTEINEER is designed for ultimate sensitivity, success rate, and throughput of protein identification.

High performance of all system components, combined with a unique automated and intelligent workflow control (WARP™), provide an unmatched overall productivity, enabling "High Success Proteomics" at a minimum of running costs and effort. PROTEINEER is scalable and can be configured for use in small pilot phase studies up to full-blown industrial-scale proteome initiatives with thousands of samples per day.

Workflow Control

For the fast identification of large numbers of proteins from 2D gels, the intelligent use of available MS technologies is crucial: Use the fast MALDI-TOF and TOF/TOF technologies for the first rounds of screening, and reduce the samples numbers to a manageable size for in-depth LC-MS/MS analysis!

The workflow can be adjusted to analyze a maximum of samples, or to analyze fewer samples with maximal depth – even with MSn! This is managed by PROTEINEER’s search result-driven workflow control WARP™ (Workflow Administration by Result-driven Processing).

Depending on the search result from a protein mass fingerprint (PMF), TOF/TOF acquisitions for a sample on the same MALDI target will only be triggered in cases where identification failed – and automated LC-MS/MS will only be triggered if the upstream analyses failed. This dynamic sample-specific strategy provides outstanding success rates of protein identification at a minimum of analysis time.
